Our commercial-grade steel fold-out mechanisms use a supportive trampoline deck (no uncomfortable cross-bars under your back) paired with a heavy-duty inner-spring or gel/memory-foam topped mattress that folds away effortlessly in seconds.

Real sofa seating support

Unlike flimsy imported fold-out couches, our sofa beds use full-depth Dunlop foam seat cushions and tailored back cushions so the lounge feels indistinguishable from a dedicated everyday sofa when closed.

How much room clearance do I need when the sofa bed is folded out?

Most Double and Queen fold-out sofa beds project approximately 2,250 mm to 2,350 mm from the back wall when fully opened. Share your room depth with our team and we will confirm the exact open and closed footprint for your chosen model.

Can I add a sofa bed mechanism to a modular or chaise lounge?

Yes — designs like the Nook Modular with Sofa Bed, Randwick, Lexi, Tegan and Sydney can be built as a straight sofa, chaise lounge or corner modular with a concealed Double or Queen bed.

Will a heavy sofa bed fit through narrow apartment doors or stairs?

Yes. If you have tight stairs, lifts or narrow hallways, our Sydney workshop can supply the sofa bed with a removable mechanism or bolt-on arms so delivery is smooth and stress-free.

Can I order a custom sofa bed in 100% genuine leather or washable fabric?

Yes. Every sofa bed can be upholstered in 200+ commercial and family-friendly fabrics or 100% genuine Bovine and Bull leather hides from Italy, Scotland, New Zealand and Germany.
