Here at leisure lounges, we walk alongside you through every step of the journey to create your dream custom lounge. Whether you have a clear vision or are starting from scratch, our process is designed to make your experience simple, collaborative and exciting.
We create designs using a seven-step process:
Step 1: The Design Consultation
Your lounge journey begins with a design consultation; this can be conducted either online or in person. During this session, we will collect all the important details about your space and vision.
We'll ask you about your home's layout and style, the rooms' materiality and lighting, the intended use for your lounge, preferred colour and themes, your likes and dislikes, and any inspirational photos and images you may have gathered. This allows us to understand your needs and helps us create a lounge that suits your space and lifestyle perfectly.
Step 2: Return Brief
After our consultation, we’ll email you a return brief and a quick summary of everything we discussed. This will allow you to review the correct and accurate information and add anything we may have missed or not discussed. This brief will be the foundation of your design moving forward.
Step 3: Initial Concept
With your brief in hand, we begin designing a preliminary model of your lounge. This simple concept will show you the proposed shape and dimensions, general style direction and the final design elements of your lounge. We’ll email you the model to review. You’re welcome to give feedback or suggest changes during this stage.
Step 4: Concept Presentation
This is the step we will take to bring your lounge to life! We will develop a detailed 3D model and renders, complete with materials selections, lighting and texture and a realistic replica of your room to visualise the lounge in context.
This presentation includes high-quality rendered images showing your lounge in detail, including the finishes, dimensions, and design features.
We will meet with you in person and bring physical fabric samples so that you can see and feel the materials firsthand. You can provide feedback, and we'll make any adjustments needed to ensure your lounge is precisely what you envision.
Step 5: Final Presentation
Using your feedback, we’ll refine the design and create updated renders with the final changes, professional shop drawings ( a technical documentation of the dimensions and specifications, which can be helpful if any trades are involved, people like builders or electricians) and a final quote and invoice for your lounge. Once you're happy, we officially sign off on your custom lounge design!
Step 6: Manufacturing
This is where the magic happens, and your lounge goes into production! They are 100% Australian-made and are made to order with the highest craftsmanship; our manufacturing takes approximately 4- 12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the build. We take pride in quality, so every piece is carefully constructed to ensure it’s built to last.
Step 7: Delivery and Installation
The final step is that we deliver your finished lounge straight to your home and handle installation for you. Everything is set up and ready to enjoy, without stress or hassle. Just sit back and relax on your brand-new custom lounge, designed specially for you.
